Police have arrested a man after being called to a report of petrol bombs being thrown at a property in The Meadows.
Officers were called to an address in Bosworth Walk just before 1pm today (Monday 18 May 2020).
A cordon was quickly established and a number of homes were evacuated as a precaution. Fire service colleagues also attended and residents were soon able to return to their homes and given appropriate advice on ventilating their homes.
No reports have been received of any injuries or damage caused.
A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson and affray. He remains in custody.

The cordon remains in place as officers continue with their enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident.
