Nottinghamshire is set to experience a day marked by the influence of Storm Agnes, with the Met Office issuing weather warnings for the region on Wednesday 27 September 2023.


Starting dry but becoming increasingly windy as Storm Agnes affects the northwest of the UK. Cloud and rain spreading erratically north and east through the afternoon and evening, locally heavy over the Pennines, and bringing a risk of gales. Mild. Maximum temperature 19 °C.

Strong winds and patchy outbreaks of rain continuing into the first half of the night but becoming drier and clearer into the early hours with winds easing by dawn. Minimum temperature 12 °C.


Thursday dry and bright with some sunny spells but staying breezy. Becoming cloudier into the evening with outbreaks of rain spreading in from the west. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
