Wet and windy start for many as rain moves eastwards, accompanied by strong winds. This clearing to sunshine and showers, perhaps heavy at times with gusty winds. A brief lull late afternoon before Storm Ciarán arrives overnight. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Tonight:

Winds building later in the evening, with heavy rain also arriving. Remaining wet overnight, with strong winds, especially on coasts. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Thursday:

Wet and windy in association with Storm Ciarán. Rain, heavy at times, will persist through the day. Windy at times. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

  • 07:00 – 11:00: The early hours will see overcast conditions with a steady temperature of 10°C. The likelihood of rain during this period is relatively low, ranging from 10% to 20%.
