A road closure in Ilkeston has been lifted following an incident late last night.
Derbyshire Police said:
‘Police were called to Wood Street at about 11:40 pm yesterday following concerns for the welfare of a man in an address.
‘Officers found a man unconscious and he was treated at the scene but later pronounced dead.
‘There are no suspicious circumstances.

‘The road was closed while an investigation into the circumstances was carried out. It has now been reopened.’
