An illegal weapon was found while police in Worksop were searching for a suspect.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘Today 1 May 2023 when officers were searching for a wanted male in the Sandy Lane area of Worksop, this dangerous weapon was located under the kitchen sink.
‘Possessing this weapon, whether in public or private, is illegal.’
‘We cannot stress enough the dangers these weapons pose to our community.’
‘At Nottinghamshire Police we are striving to make our communities safe by taking every opportunity we can to seize these weapons.
