Police are appealing for help after a man was assaulted at a block of flats in Nottingham.
The victim was attacked after answering the front door to the complex in the Arboretum area of the city.
Officers believe the man in this image will be able to assist their inquiries into the incident, which took place on 11 December 2025.
The assault came to light when officers analysed footage relating to an unrelated incident.
They have spoken to the victim who has no lasting effects from the assault.
Officers have carried out a number of enquiries to trace the pictured man and are now appealing for the public’s help.
PC Laura Morton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We treat all incidents such as this seriously.
“It is important we speak to the man pictured as we believe he could have important information about what happened.
“We appreciate you can’t see his face clearly but we are hoping someone will recognise his clothing and/or trainers.
