Image released after assault in High Pavement Nottingham

Detectives investigating an assault have released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Officers were made aware of reports of an assault taking place in High Pavement, Nottingham city centre, at around 2.55am, on 27 April 2023.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was left with a broken nose and cuts to his back.

Anyone who was in the area at the time, has any information on what happened or recognises the person pictured is asked to contact the police.

Detective Constable Helen Pannell, investigating the incident, said:

“We are still carrying out a full investigation into what happened but are now seeking the public’s help.

“We believe the man in these CCTV images may be able to help give us information on what happened so are keen to identify who he is.

“The victim in this case is still undergoing treatment for his injuries so if you recognise who this person is please do come forward and get in touch with us.”

Anyone who recognises the person pictured is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 178 of 27 April 2023, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
