Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the use of fraudulent bank notes at a Nottingham supermarket.
The incident happened on Saturday 3 August at Asda Hyson Green.
It was reported a customer purchased a series of gift cards using fraudulent £20 notes.
PC Jordan Hinds, of the City Central neighbourhood policing team, said:
“The use of counterfeit bank notes is a serious offence and we are determined to bring the offender to justice.
“We believe the person in these images will be able to assist the investigation and I would encourage him to come forward.
“Likewise, I would appeal for anyone who recognises him to call 101 quoting reference 24*462876.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
