Police have released an image of a man we would like to speak to following an assault in Nottingham city centre.
Officers were called to Tesco Express, in Fletcher Gate, shortly after 3pm on Monday 22 September.
A member of staff was punched in the face after they approached a customer who was attempting to leave without paying.
PCSO Mark Fisher, of the City Centre neighbourhood policing team, said:
“This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“Thankfully the member of staff was not seriously injured but was understandably left shaken by what happened.
“We want to speak to the man pictured as part of our ongoing inquiries into the incident. We have pursued a number of lines of inquiry to trace him and are now asking for the public’s help.
