Police investigating an attempted burglary in New Lenton have released an image of a man they think could aid in their investigation.
Reports came in that a man had tried to gain entrance to a property in Pelham Crescent just after midnight on 15 September.
Officers have pursued a number of lines of enquiry in an effort to trace the individual featured in the image, and are now calling on the public to help identify him.
PC Jordan Hinds, of the Arboretum neighbourhood policing team, said:
“This was understandably an upsetting incident for the victim, and we are determined to track down those responsible.
“We believe that the individual in this image could assist us in our investigation, so we’d encourage him, or anyone who recognises him to get in touch.”
