Image released after teenagers attacked by group in Fletcher Gate Nottingham

Police are seeking the public’s help after two teenagers were assaulted by a group in Nottingham city centre.

The victims, both aged 19, were followed along Fletcher Gate by a number of individuals after a dispute at a nearby nightclub.

One of the victims was grabbed by the throat, headbutted, tripped over and punched during an incident that lasted several minutes.

The second victim was pushed during the altercation, which happened shortly before 1am on 18 March.

As part of their ongoing inquiries, police investigating the assault have issued CCTV images of four men they want to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.

PC Koen Broers, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Thankfully no-one was seriously hurt but we are determined to catch up with those responsible.

“We believe the people pictured in these images may have valuable information and we urge anyone who knows any of them to get in contact with us as soon as possible.”
