Image released after woman ‘dragged by her hair to the ground and kicked’ outside Cornerhouse Nottingham

Police investigating an assault on a woman have released CCTV images of another woman they want to identify and speak to.

The 22-year-old victim was assaulted by another woman who reportedly grabbed her by the hair, dragged her to the floor and repeatedly kicked her outside The Cornerhouse in Forman Street, Nottingham city centre.

The unprovoked attack happened between 1.30am and 2am on Sunday 7 April 2024.

PC James Anderton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a nasty assault on a woman who suffered bruising after being kicked multiple times.

Now officers believe the pictured woman may be able to assist them with their ongoing investigation.

“We are determined to find the person responsible, and we are keen to hear from anyone who knows the woman pictured.

“While we appreciate the CCTV images are not of the best quality, we are hoping people may recognise her as we believe she may have vital information about what happened which could assist us with our investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the woman is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting crime occurrence 24000210692, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
