Image shared after bag snatched from woman trying on a coat in Nottingham shop

Police investigating the theft of a bag have released an image of a woman they would like to speak to.

The bag, containing house keys, a bank card and cash, was stolen from a customer as she shopped inside Footasylum, in Clumber Street, Nottingham on 6 December.

An opportunist thief snatched the bag after it was placed down by the customer as she tried on a coat.

Officers believe the woman pictured in this image may be able to help with their investigation and have asked her to come forward.
