Officers have released an image of a man they wish to trace after an incident on a bus.
The incident happened on Thursday 25 July on the number 90 Vectare bus travelling from Nottingham to Newark and occurred at the Spring House stop.
A member of the public was hit around the head.
Officers have carried out a number of lines of inquiry to locate the person responsible but so far no one has been found.
Officers have now released an image of a man that could help police with their inquiries and are calling on the public’s help to identify him.
PC Lee Lane, who is investigating the incident, said:
“We have released an image of a man that could help us further our investigation and are hoping the public will be able to identify him.
“Do you know the man in the image? Are you the man in the image? Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
