Image shared after man bitten and punched at Nottingham city bar

Security guards ejected those involved and the victim was set upon again outside.

Police have released an image of two people they’d like to speak to after a man was attacked on a night out.

The incident happened at a bar in Friar Lane, Nottingham City Centre, at about 12.30 am on Thursday 10 October.

The 20-year-old victim was initially assaulted inside the venue.

Security guards ejected those involved and the victim was set upon again outside.

He was punched to the head multiple times and bitten.

“We believe the two people in the image we’re releasing today will be assist our inquiries and I’d appeal for them to come forward.”

PC Octavia Watson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“The victim in this case was simply enjoying a night out when he was violently assaulted in what appears to have been an unprovoked attack.

“We believe the two people in the image we’re releasing today will be assist our inquiries and I’d appeal for them to come forward.

“Equally if you recognise them, please get in touch.”
