Police want to speak to this person following reports a teenager had his phone snatched by a knife-carrier.
The victim was riding on a tram that was heading towards Nottingham city centre when the robbery happened.
He was reportedly holding his phone when an unknown man snatched it out his hand as the tram came to a stop.
When the doors opened at the Theatre Royal stop, the individual got off the tram, with the victim following him out.
After asking for his phone back, the teenager was reportedly threatened by the man and shown a knife he was carrying.
The suspect then walked around the Theatre Royal before disappearing from the victim’s sight, around 2pm on 8 October.
Nobody was injured during the incident.

Police have been investigating the robbery since it was reported and can now release images of someone they’d like to talk to.
Detective Constable David Hanmore, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a very upsetting incident for the victim, who was minding his own business when his phone was snatched.
“That happened onboard a tram, with the perpetrator then getting off at a stop before reportedly threatening the phone owner with a knife when he tried to get it back.
“The actions described amount to a robbery, which is an incredibly serious offence that will always result in a police response fitting of that.
“We’re determined to get to the bottom of what happened here, which is why we’re now releasing images of an individual we’d like to speak to.
“We believe they could have information that could really assist our investigation, so we’d ask them or anyone who recognises them to contact us immediately.”
The police can be contacted directly on 101, quoting incident 390 of 8 October 2025, while information can also be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
