Police investigating a double assault in Nottingham have issued a CCTV image of a person they would like to speak with.
Two men were assaulted inside a nightclub along Cheapside, in the city centre, during the early hours of Sunday 25 January.
One of the victims was knocked unconscious after a punch to his nose and the second victim was struck in the jaw causing minimal injury.
Officers have pursued a number of lines of enquiry to trace the man in the image and are now appealing for the public’s help.
PC Ben Cunningham, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“There can be no excuse for violent behaviour such as this and we determined to trace the person responsible for these assaults.
“We believe the person pictured in this image has valuable information and urge them or anyone who knows them to come forward.”
