Officers have released images of two women they wish to trace following two separate assaults outside a Nottingham city centre venue.
The incidents happened on the evening of Saturday December 7 at Be At One bar in Victoria Street.
The first incident happened inside the venue where a glass was thrown at a woman.
The woman, in her 20s, then had her hair pulled and was kicked and punched outside the venue by another female.
The second incident saw another victim, a woman in her 20s, approached outside the venue where she was pushed backwards and hit her head on the floor.
Both suspects left the scene after the incident in the direction of Old Market Square.
A number of lines of inquiry have been carried out by police including working with the venue.
Both incidents are currently being linked.
Police have now released two images of two women they wish to trace who could help them with their investigation.
They are calling on the public’s help to identify them.
PC James Anderton, who is investigating the incident, said:
“It is only by luck that both victims were not left with more serious injuries.
“We are determined to ensure those responsible are dealt with as we simply won’t tolerate violence in or outside our city venues.
“We have released images of two women that could help us with our inquiries. Do you know the women pictured? Are you the women pictured? Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
