Images released in Nottingham street fight investigation

Detectives investigating a street fight have released these CCTV images of people they would like to speak to.

Three teenagers have been arrested and charged with violent disorder following the incident in Foxhall Road, Forest Fields, Nottingham, at 7.25pm on Tuesday (16 May).

Officers were called after reports a group of young men were fighting with knives and the offenders fled in different directions when police arrived at the scene.

Detectives are now in a position to release these images of people they want to trace in relation to the incident.

Detective Inspector Chris Berryman, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This incident understandably caused concern within the community so we have been working hard to understand exactly what happened.

“We have now placed three people before the courts but as our investigation continues we would like to speak to the individuals pictured in these images.

“I’d appeal to them, or anyone who knows or recognises them, to get in touch with police immediately.”

Eighteen-year-old Kane Steel, of Bradgate Road, and a 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 18 May charged with violent disorder.

Steel has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

The 15-year-old has been charged with possession of a bladed article in relation to an earlier incident, in Noel Street, on 11 May when officers stopped a suspect acting suspiciously and found a knife in his clothing.

A 16-year-old boy, who also cannot be named, appeared at the same court on Saturday (20 May) charged with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.

Three people were treated at Queen’s Medical Centre for injuries which are not currently believed to be life-altering or life-threatening following the Forest Fields incident.

Anyone who can identify the individuals, or has any other information, CCTV, door bell or dash-cam footage, should call officers on 101, quoting incident 707 of 16 May, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
