Increased patrols in East Leake after anti-social behaviour, drugs and vandalism reported

There have been multiple reports over the last few days of anti-social behaviour and vandalism in the East Leake area.

Groups of young people have been reported drinking, smoking drugs and taking nitrous oxide in the Meadow Park area. This is evidenced by the litter being left, also flower beds are being ripped up and young trees are being damaged in the park and surrounding area.

Additionally, there is a lot of noise, screaming and shouting coming from the park which is disturbing local residents.

Later in the early hours, there have been more serious reports of youths, some as young as 14 or 15 years old, terrifying residents and causing criminal damage to property by throwing stones at houses and vehicles in Stone Bridge Drive.
