Jim Fairweather – the team manager told The Wire:
‘West Bridgford Storm have been playing together for 4 years and the boys are a close-knit team and so the suspension of all football was devastating for them.
‘We tried to think of a way to keep them all connected while in lockdown.
‘Inspired by the ‘loo roll challenge’ some professional footballers have been doing on You Tube, we added our own twist. It’s also inspired a challenge set down by Nottingham Forest on their official Facebook page which the boys are over the moon about.’
