Inflatable Santa stolen from fire station

Firefighters bought it themselves for a grotto event.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service staff at Stapleford Fire Station said:

‘The Santa was taken from us between 5 am and 9 am on Monday morning 19 December.

‘The inflatables used at the Christmas Charity Grotto were bought and paid for by our firefighters from their own pockets. So this has made us feel a bit sad.

‘However, to the person who has stolen our Santa, we assume that you were really desperate, and we hope that it makes you and your family happier this Christmas.

‘As happy as we made the many many children who visited our grotto.’
