Jewellery and laptop stolen in Wollaton burglary

Officers were called to the address at around 9.50pm on Monday evening.

Officers are investigating after valuable jewellery was stolen in a break-in.

Thieves targeted the victim’s home in Wollaton Vale, Wollaton, and stole goods including tiaras, necklaces and bangles and an Apple Macbook laptop.

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward so the sentimental items can be reunited with the victims.

Officers were called to the address at around 9.50pm on Monday evening (13 September 2021).

Detective Sergeant Lee Cattell, of Nottinghamshire Police said: “Officers were called to the address after the victims returned home and found their side door had been smashed and rooms left ransacked.

“It appears the offenders have entered and exited through the same door

“Burglary is totally unacceptable and can impact on the victims both financially and emotionally.

“We are now urging anyone with information to come forward and contact us with anything that may help our investigation to reunite the victims with their stolen belongings.”
