These changes would lead to a number of job losses from the existing restaurant and so Harts restaurant staff are under a month-long consultation period which ends on 9th February.

Tim Hart said:

‘Over recent years, the demand for high-end dining in Nottingham has fallen to the point where an 80-cover offering is too large for all but Saturday night and Sunday lunch services.’

No final decision about the future of Harts Restaurant will be made until the end of the consultation period.

Meanwhile, Tim confirms ‘business continues as usual at Harts Restaurant and its banqueting off-shoot Harts Upstairs.
