The Carriage Hall is looking for an experienced EVENT MANAGER to join our friendly team.
Event Manager, The Carriage Hall, Plumtree.
**Role starting Spring 2021**.
Established in 2008, The Carriage Hall is a stunning wedding and events venue situated in a Victorian Railway goods shed, next to Perkins Bar & Bistro in Plumtree, Nottingham.
This is a hands-on operational role where you will have responsibility for managing a catering team to deliver exceptional levels of service in a busy environment. Your responsibilities will include:
• Day to day management of the venue, events and team.
• Organising and running client meetings, timely communication on the lead up to an event and successful delivery on the day.
• Working in Perkins Bar & Bistro as and when required.
The role will also include opening and locking up responsibilities and ensuring the hall is immaculate at all times.
The candidate must be customer focused, immaculately presented, have great people management skills and a keen eye for detail. You will need to be competent on Microsoft office and able to write emails clearly and correctly.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years management experience in an event venue, restaurant or hotel environment. Direct experience with weddings is preferred.
An essential part of this role is being able to adapt to work at Perkins Bar & Bistro (our flagship restaurant situated next to the Carriage Hall) during in Carriage Hall down times and to cover holidays.
