A joint investigation has been launched after a vehicle fire spread to fences outside homes in Hucknall.
Fire crews were called to Broxtowe Drive at 2.42am on Monday, 29 June, after reports of a vehicle on fire outside a property.
Crews from Hucknall, Ashfield and Mansfield fire stations attended the scene and brought the blaze under control.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire spread from the vehicle to fences at nearby properties.
The fire engines had left the scene by Monday afternoon, but firefighters remained in the area while a joint investigation with police was carried out.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters from Hucknall, Ashfield and Mansfield fire stations attended this fire following a call at 2.42am.
“A vehicle outside a property was on fire, which spread to fences to nearby properties.
“Although the fire engines have left the scene, we remain on scene to conduct a joint police and fire investigation.”
