Nottingham & Union Rowing Club, based next to Trent Bridge in Nottingham row on one of the best rivers in the country.
The 2020/21 rowing season has restarted, this weekend sees the return of their rowers who are a familiar site on water rowing alongside Nottingham’s Victoria Embankment.
The club is currently recruiting Yr 9 and 10 boys to join the Junior section, no previous experience is required as coaches are on hand to teach and support young athletes. September is a great time to learn to row, with plenty of time before racing in the new year at local and national events.

You will then then take the first steps in learning to row on our indoor rowing machines and after just a few sessions you will be out in a boat on the river.
