The Keyworth Show is a community event held annually on the first Saturday in July, on the Recreation Field off Nottingham Road in Keyworth and organised by the Keyworth Show Committee.
The show has a circus theme this year, with arena entertainment from the equine team Stallions of Substance including displays from Arabian and Dutch Warmblood stallions and Tommy, a miniature horse.
Live music with Lady Rose and Scribble Victory, and dance displays from Keyworth School of Theatre Dance showcasing a ballet, an Irish Dance, Wonka and The Greatest Showman themed dances.
Add in a wide range of stalls and food vendors, fun-fair, classic cars including a DeLorean, and a Horticultural, Arts and Crafts show, there is something for all the family.
The Show is on Saturday 6 July and runs from 11am to 5pm. Entry is £3 per adult/14 and over, under 14s free. Free secure car parking for the Show is available.
The prime objective of the Committee is to create a ‘family fun day’ attracting visitors both from our village and surrounding areas. Surplus funds from the Show are redirected back into the community to help local groups and projects.
