Police have arrested a suspect after responding to reports of a knife being drawn during an argument over loud music.
Officers were called to a property in Gregory Boulevard, Hyson Green, after it was reported that a man had banged on the front door and complained about the music.
He is then believed to have pulled out a knife and threatened someone inside.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of affray following the incident at around 10.40pm on Monday (21 March 2022)
He remains in police custody.
Sergeant Susan Farren, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “After responding to reports that a man had threatened someone during a dispute at an address in Gregory Boulevard, police quickly attended the scene and identified the suspect.
“A 25-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray and is currently being questioned, as our enquiries into this incident continue.
“If anyone witnessed what happened, or has any information that could assist us with our investigation, we’d ask that they call police on 101, quoting incident number 817 of 21 March 2022.”
