Lady Bay Arts are putting out a call for volunteers to be part of this year’s Festival Weekend on 17 and 18 May.
Volunteers are at the heart of making Lady Bay Arts successful and every hour someone volunteers over the weekend is very much appreciated.
The event runs from 11am to 5pm both days and volunteers are needed to help take payment at entry points, hand out maps, guide visitors and provide support to the artists.
If you’d like to get involved during the Lady Bay Arts Festival Weekend, there is an online booking system where you can book by the hour, and you can choose to do as little or as much as you’d like over the two days.
The team at Lady Bay Arts wants to recognise the effort put in by volunteers, so this year, every volunteer will get a ‘family pass’ for the weekend itself (free entry for two adults and unlimited children) as well as a drink voucher to use in one of our refreshment providers. If you volunteer for a full day, you will also receive a voucher towards your lunch.
Last year, 28 volunteers gave up 100 hours of their time to make sure that the Festival Weekend ran smoothly. If you are able to give some time this year, head over to the Lady Bay Arts website for all the details and to sign up to volunteer.
