Lady Bay Arts Trail is back for 2022 this month

Lady Bay Arts Trail has a full programme showing regional artists and designers who live and work in Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands.

31 venues are opening with more than 70 artists and designers taking part plus musicians and artist-run workshops.

Admission to the arts trail is free for 2022 and will be opened by Sue Mallender Mayor of Rushcliffe on Saturday at 11am.

Free brochures including a map of the arts trail will be available from Lady Bay Primary, All Hallows Church, The Poppy & Pint and Scout Hall.

From here it will be possible to explore the rest of the arts trail where refreshments will be widely available.

Lady Bay guarantees another fantastic weekend discovering some of the best art in the region.

There will be a chance to meet artists and to experience a range of outstanding art outside galleries and formal exhibitions.

Venues this year will be as varied and exciting as ever. Visitors can expect a stunning range of contemporary art and design exhibited in homes, studios and gardens including local businesses and public spaces.

Lady Bay School will be a main entry point with stalls, workshops and activities aimed at both children and adults: VCreate dance group will be running a series of workshops at the school (Saturday only). There will be meet the poet in residence workshops plus craft activities both days all aimed at participation for both children and adults.

Lady Bay is pleased to host new group exhibitions in All Hallows Church and Halls bringing together a number of regional artists. Other artists and designers will be showing in the Scout Hall.

Both venues will have refreshments served by Lady Bay Pop Up Café and Scout Hall Café respectively.

Wheelchair and disability access is restricted in homes, gardens and studios but the main public exhibitions including Lady Bay Primary are wheelchair accessible.

The Arts Trail is organised by artists and designers who live in Lady Bay and who volunteer to plan, advise and organise the arts trail line up.

Big thanks to all other volunteers in Lady Bay who pledge their time and support as hosts, organisers and helpers.

Also to visitors, especially people in Lady Bay and local businesses for their continued support.
