Temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced around the City Ground from Saturday 22 August as Nottingham Forest’s 2026/27 football season gets under way.
The A6011 Lady Bay Bridge will close for its full length between Meadow Lane and the A6520 Radcliffe Road for approximately 15 minutes between 17:30 and 18:30. A further closure lasting around 30 minutes will be imposed after the match ends.
Scarrington Road in West Bridgford will also close for its entire length, with waiting, loading and unloading prohibited.
Northbound traffic will be diverted via Radcliffe Road, Trent Bridge, London Road, Fisher Gate, Pennyfoot Street, Manvers Street and Meadow Lane.
The southbound diversion will follow Meadow Lane, Manvers Street, Pennyfoot Street, Lower Parliament Street, London Road, Trent Bridge and Radcliffe Road.
Access will be maintained for emergency services throughout the restrictions.
