The bridge will be closed to traffic from 20:00 to 06:00 hours, Monday to Friday, allowing for weekend and daytime travel.

This temporary closure is necessary to facilitate bridge joint replacements and resurfacing works, ensuring the longevity and safety of the bridge.

During the closure, a detour will be in place to redirect traffic.

For those travelling from A6520 Radcliffe Road to A6011 Meadow Lane, the alternative route will be via A6520 Radcliffe Road, A60 London Road, and Cattle Market Road County Road A6011 Meadow Lane.

Conversely, those travelling from A6011 Meadow Lane to A6520 Radcliffe Road should follow the reverse route.
