Lady Bay Open Gardens back this weekend

Lady Bay Open Gardens returns this weekend, taking place on Saturday 21 June and Sunday 22 June from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on each day.

This year’s event promises to be as wonderful as ever, featuring a stunning display of 24 gardens. There will also be music, plant stalls and refreshment on both days.

The event aims to raise even more funds for worthy causes, with ticket proceeds supporting the Lady Bay Community Fund alongside various charities chosen by individual garden owners.

The event organisers say that they are thrilled with the fantastic mix of new and returning gardens contributing to this special event.

To identify the gardens taking part, look out for the Rex Gooding ‘Open Garden’ boards outside houses taking part. Start at any participating garden – ticket entry programmes, which are valid for both days, can be purchased for £5 per adult (18s and under are free). Card machine ticket points will be available at 45 Pierrepont Road, 60 Holme Road, 149 Holme Road and 196 Rutland Road, and cash payments can be made at any FULL open garden.

On Saturday only, limited free parking is available at Nottingham Rugby Club on Holme Road. On Sunday, on-street parking could be difficult as the area is expected to be busy due to the cricket taking place at Trent Bridge. Lady Bay is well-served by the number 11 bus from town, and is a 15 minute walk from central West Bridgford, but if you do arrive by car, please make sure that you park considerately.
