Having very quickly established itself as a much anticipated annual event, this fantastic community sale sees the streets of Lady Bay thronged with shoppers, browsers and lots of friendly folk looking to uncover treasures to take home.
Sellers make use of their front gardens, driveways and surrounding spaces to set up stalls and sell their wares; some homemade, some preloved and some new, but all needing a new home – there’s always a bargain to be found.
This year more than 120 households will take part, selling cakes, clothing, plants and furniture, jewellery and collectables and everything in between. There are house clearances, down sizers, and charitable fundraisers.
The Safari Sale team hope to help save as many items as possible from languishing unused in lofts, garages, under beds and in cellars or from just being thrown away.
There will also be food and drinks stalls to keep you refreshed from the likes of Falafel Baffle, Boxed Drinks and award-winning Porco. The event is planned and organised by the Lady Bay Primary School PTA to help raise vital funds for the school and to help continue the unique Lady Bay community spirit.
The sale runs from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 13th June and maps/stall lists will be available online from the 10th of June.
