Nottingham Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi is ready for the challenge posed by Fulham tomorrow at Craven Cottage.
The Reds have stayed down in London since their midweek draw against Charlton and Lamouchi feels that was the best option to prepare his side for the test against Scott Parker’s side.
He said: “It was the best option for us, to give us more recovery and a chance for the players to be fresh for tomorrow because it is a big challenge for us.
“It could be very difficult for us because the way they play is very good and they had a good result in midweek.
“At the beginning, it was like us with one defeat but they have found the right way. They play at home so it will be a challenge for us but with every game it is a new story.”
The Reds came from behind to take a point against Charlton and the character shown by his side pleased Lamouchi as he feels his side growing.
He said: “It has not been easy because we played at the beginning without all of our players, some players came late and we started against West Brom and Leeds away.
“It has not been so bad, not perfect but with the last game we were frustrated as we didn’t play like against Birmingham.
“Why? Maybe because Charlton played much better than us in the middle, they were compact and aggressive and the second half was different but not enough and not enough to think of more than one point.
“But to take one point is really positive because we came back in the game and to take one point in this situation is positive.
“We need to create something and just the result can create something inside the group. Game after game, result after result, if the result is positive, it can create something positive and they will want more.
“It is a big challenge tomorrow, very tough but we must enjoy it.”
