The annual Hickling Scarecrow Festival takes place on September 14 and 15 in aid of homeless charity Emmanual House and other local charity groups.
This year’s theme is flora and fauna and event goers are invited to come and visit the marvellous scarecrow creations from villagers that usually attract around 70 wonderful creations.
There will be a Lancaster flypast scheduled around lunch time stalls, fairground street theatre, morris and clog dancers, traction engines, music, raffle, competitions, church tower tours, cakes and more! Parking is £4 with a programme included.
Parking is available on Bridegate Lane as you approach into the village from the A606 through Hickling Pastures and at locations on Main Road.
