A Lancaster Bomber from the RAF memorial flight is planned weather permitting.
On 23 May 1943, Lancaster I W4938 and its crew were lost when the aircraft crashed after takeoff at Langar Airfield.
The aircraft came down between Oberhausen and Sterkrade in Germany.
On Saturday the 13 May at 2 pm, there will be a commemoration service at the 207 squadron memorial at Langar Airfield.
The service will be followed by a flypast of the RAF Lancaster Bomber from the memorial flight at 2.33 pm.
The bomb aimer Thomas Skelton at 19 was newly married to the late Dorothy Ware and she wanted a memorial erected to 207 which duly happened in 1994 and has recently been refurbished by Belvoir Rail Company of Cotgrave and the new bench seat provided by Rushcliffe Borough Council.
Organisers said:
‘Without Dorothy or the generosity of Roland Gale, owner of the airfield, the memorial may never have been dedicated.
‘So this aircraft and its crew have a most important part to play and in its own way remembering 207 Squadron at Langar.
‘How else can they be remembered than with a flypast and circuits of the BBMF Lancaster, weather permitting.
‘I have had help from a former WAF Brenda Kelly, I don’t know how she became involved, but she has managed to trace a least three families and I believe two will be attending.
‘So my belief is that this crew deserves to be remembered and in doing say also the memory of Dorothy Ware and all those that were instrumental in forming and serving on the memorial committee.’
