Police were called at about 11.50 am after the report collision between two cars in Derby Road.
Three lanes were closed and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
Highways England announced that all lanes are now open.
Nottinghamshire Police said: “Three lanes have been closed due to the collision following the incident and officers are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible as there are likely to be delays.”
‘A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving in connection with the incident.
