Lark in the Park back in West Bridgford on Wednesday 3 August

Rushcliffe Borough Council’s ever popular Lark in the Park, sponsored by Hollies Day Nurseries returns tomorrow (Wednesday August 3) and is set to feature over 60 fantastic stalls and attractions.

 

This year’s free event brings an array of attractions at Bridgford Park in West Bridgford from 10am to 4pm with inflatables, circus skills, soft play, storytelling and sports activities from Nottingham Rugby and West Bridgford Tennis Club.

 

There will also be an entertainment programme with free singing and dancing shows for children featuring Jo Jingles, Super Sparkle Parties with Dex the T-Rex, Dynamic Dance and more.

Event visitors are encouraged to travel by public transport to the event.

All local car parks will be open and Bridge Field Park on Bridgford Road will also be used as an event car park and will be open from 9.30am to 5pm with cashless RingGo parking available.

Payments can be made via the RingGo app, online at www.myRingGo.co.uk or by phone 0115 871 4000. 

Cash payments will continue to be taken at existing town centre Pay and Display locations including Bridgford Road, Gordon Road and Nursey Car Park. 

Additional notification charges may apply and users are advised to check charges and location numbers at these car parks before purchasing parking time.

The Council’s Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Communities and Climate Change Cllr Abby Brennan said: “I’m extremely pleased that Lark in the Park is returning to West Bridgford for the first time since 2019! 

 

“This is always an action-packed event and gives friends and families the opportunity to spend quality time together, enjoying a range of activities and entertainment, and above all a fun-filled day!

 

“There will be a fantastic atmosphere, we are anticipating a great turn out, we just now need the weather.”
