Last Chance to Have Your Say: Nottinghamshire County Council’s Annual Budget Survey closes this Sunday

Residents and businesses are being reminded that they have one last chance to participate in Nottinghamshire County Council’s Annual Budget Survey, which closes this Sunday, 10 November, just before midnight.

This is a crucial opportunity for people to voice their opinions on how the County Council’s budget should be allocated for the next financial year.

The survey is part of the council’s ongoing dialogue with residents to determine its priorities for creating a healthier, more prosperous, and greener Nottinghamshire. By participating, residents can help shape the council’s investment decisions and support local communities.

Councillor Richard Jackson, Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources, emphasised the importance of public input:
“We recognise the challenges facing local government, but we remain optimistic about the future of our county. Our priorities are to support our people and communities to live healthy, prosperous lives. We are committed to investing in better schools, improved roads, and high-quality services while maintaining a strong financial position.

“As your elected representatives, we are dedicated to hearing your views to ensure our priorities align with your needs. Your participation in our survey will genuinely help inform our budget setting plans, making a real difference in how we invest in the county and support our communities.”

The survey takes just minutes to complete and can be accessed here: Budget Consultation 2024 | NottinghamshireCounty Council or at any of the County Council’s libraries, where printed copies are available.

Alternatively, residents can contact the council’s customer service team at 0300 500 80 80 for assistance.

Don’t miss this final opportunity to have your say and help us invest in Nottinghamshire’s future.
