Due to the recent flooding, combined with the current and forecast poor weather, many of the areas we use for parking cars are currently not safe, and will not improve until after the weekend.
As a result, Chatsworth has taken the difficult decision to limit access to Chatsworth and the Christmas market on 15, 16 and 17 November for those travelling by car, to people who have already booked tickets for the house, garden and/or farmyard on these days, Gold and Silver Friends of Chatsworth, or those with a booking at one of our restaurants.
Unfortunately, anyone who does not fall in to one of these categories will not able to access Chatsworth or the Christmas market during these three days by car.
The organisers apologise for any disappointment this may cause, but say they must prioritise the safety of visitors and staff. They are hopeful that conditions will improve next week, and will be posting regular updates.
