‘The A50 Foston-Hatton-Hilton Bypass in Derbyshire is closed eastbound between the A515 (Sudbury) and the A511 (Hatton/Hilton) to allow for a recovery operation to take place.
‘A low-loader has lost a lorry tractor cab which it was transporting. There is a large fuel spillage across the road surface. The road will remain closed throughout the afternoon while the vehicle is recovered.
‘Traffic is being diverted via local routes.
‘If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time. Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey.’
