The A52 in Nottinghamshire is closed eastbound between the A60 (Nottingham Knight) and the A606 (Wheatcroft Island, near Edwalton) due to flooding.
Our Traffic Officers are on scene assisting with traffic management and our contractors remain working at scene to clear the carriageway.
Diversion Route:
• From the A52 Queens Drive Interchange, take the exit onto the A453 towards the city centre.
• Follow the A453 for approximately 1.4 miles and at the signalised junction with the A6019, take a right turn onto the A6019 Waterway Street.
• Continue on the A6019, turning left onto Sherriff’s Way, then right onto Queen’s Road.
• At the T Junction, turn right onto the A60 and follow for 1 mile, crossing the River Trent.
• At the signalised junction with Melton Road, take the left fork onto the A606 through West Bridgford to rejoin the eastbound A52 at Wheatcroft Island

The A52 is now closed eastbound between A60 and A606 near Nottingham due to flooding following heavy rainfall in the area.
A Gulley Sucker is in attendance.
There are delays of at least 10 minutes on approach.
