The A52 in Derbyshire remains closed westbound between the M1 J25 (Stapleford) and the A5111 (Derby) due to a collision.
Recovery has just been completed and we’re hoping to re-open the road very shortly.

Emergency services including Derbyshire Police are in attendance. National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene providing assistance with traffic management.
Diversion Route
Diverted traffic is advised to follow the hollow diamond diversion symbol:
- From the A52 / M1 J25 interchange, take the slip road onto the M1 southbound and follow until J24a
- Exit the M1 and join the A60 westbound for 4.8 miles until the junction with the A6
- Join the A6 Alvaston Bypass and continue for 2.8 miles until the A5111 junction
- Join the A5111 and then continue onward to re-join the A52 westbound
