National Highways said at 5:53 pm Monday 11 March:
Lane one is closed on the A46 north between the A607 south Hobby Horse roundabout and A607 north Cossington due a vehicle striking a bridge.
There is also an oil spillage that requires clean up.
There are 4 miles congestion causing 45 min delays above normal travel time.
AA Roadwatch:
‘Queueing traffic due to obstruction on the road on A46 Northbound after A607 (Hobby Horse Island). Congestion to before the A6 Leicester turn off.’
