There are severe delays on the M1 northbound in Nottinghamshire because of a vehicle fire.

Lanes 2 and 3 (of 3) are now open on the M1 northbound between J28 (Pinxton / A38) and J29 (Heath).
Lane 1 remains closed for ongoing vehicle recovery.
Delays on approach have eased slightly however still 30 minutes above usual journey times.

The M1 northbound between J28 (Pinxton / A38) and J29 (Heath), lanes 1 and 2 (of 3) are closed due to a vehicle fire.
There is currently approx. 5.5 miles of congestion on approach, causing delays of 60 minutes above usual journey times.

Long delays and two lanes closed due to vehicle fire on M1 Northbound between (Tibshelf Services) and J29 A617 (Chesterfield / Mansfield). Congestion to J28 (Alfreton / Mansfield). The opposite side is also congested due to the onlookers.
