‘Traffic has been stopped on the M1 southbound between J28 ( Mansfield Alfreton ) J27 ( Heanor ) due to a multi-vehicle collision.
‘Emergency services and traffic officers are on scene.
‘There are 3 miles of congestion on approach so please allow extra travel time.’
