Look inside Nottingham pub after £450,000 makeover

The Inn For a Penny Pub in Carlton has been transformed following a £450k investment from pub owner Greene King Pub Partners creating 18 new full-time and part-time jobs.

The pub reopened on Thursday 9th November and will be operated by franchisee’s Colin and Sandra Meakin, a husband-and-wife team who also operate The Hayloft pub in Giltbrook and previously worked together as Assistant Managers for Greene King hotels.

Thanks to the £450,000 investment, The Inn for a Penny has been transformed inside and out with new lighting, furniture, decorations and flooring to create a modern and welcoming environment.

Outside, the garden at the pub has also been fully upgraded with beautiful outdoor garden furniture and enhanced landscaping to make the most of the pub’s beer garden.
