Specialist recovery is ongoing for the lorry which came to rest in the field. There’s 2 miles of congestion on approach.

National Highways said at 7:37 am 7 October:
‘One lane (of 2) is closed on the A1 southbound in Lincolnshire between the B6326 (Balderton) and the B1174 (near Grantham) due to a collision involving 2 lorries.
‘Police are in attendance.
‘There’s a 20 minute delay on approach with 2 miles of congestion.’
